Once the quotation has been approved and the start date has arrived, we would firstly arrange for the scaffolding to be erected making sure there is still access to all doors, windows, garages and walkways and it is safe for family use. We can fence off a working area if required.
All public areas are made safe for the public and our working team.
All risk assessment and health and safety is undertaken by Mr.M. Harris.
We can arrange for a portaloo if a toilet is not available.
We will need water and electric to be available if possible.
We can arrange for a waste bin to be delivered next to the job and a chute for our rubbish.
Deliver all our materials needed and store where is suitable for the customer.
Start the job from 8am each day and finish around 5 pm.
Arrange for parking for our vans where we will not inconvenience or upset any neighbours.
Start the work.
Costs and Payments
We can always advise you which will be the most cost effective way of refurbishing your property, if you were thinking of having the work undertaken in stages to spread the costs.
We usually ask for the payment once we have removed the scaffolding and we have cleaned up around your house, leaving it as when we first started.
If the contract is a large undertaking we will ask for staged payments agreed by you at the time.
For repairs and small contracts we usually ask for the payment to be returned to us within seven days of the invoice.
If there are extra costs on top of your quoted price, for example we needed to replace some rotten timberwork, we would always let you know the cost before we undertake the work.
We can take cheques or bacs only.
